Ground Anchors
GROUND ANCHORS
First Four Ground Anchors are suitable for use in a wide variety of ground conditions. For maximum anchorage the full set of 3 stakes can be driven into the ground as illustrated in the pictures, but for harder conditions often two or even just one stake is all that is needed to provide enough resistance to accomplish the recovery. Simply place a high-lift jack under the reinforced lip on the top of the stake to quickly remove it.
This compact type of anchor is also more easily stowed in the vehicle than the 'ships anchor' type.
Ground Anchors are 1 metre long and galvanized for durability, they are supplied in sets of three. A full shackle set and rigging rope is provided in the kit.
