The TDS range of winches feature heavy duty 5hp high-torque series-wound motors and a full load-holding brake to ensure maximum control. The electical components are fully featured too with heavy duty sealed contactors. Though no electric winch can be called truly 'waterproof', they would have to have IP66 certification for that, but full-face drum seals deliver extreme-duty water resistance and help prevent water reaching either the motor or the gearbox.
