ZF74 Engine-Driven Hydraulic Drive Systems

The engine-mounted ZF74 Hydraulic Pump drive-system is available for 200 and 300 Tdi, Td5 and Tdci Puma engines, and can be used with most hydraulic winches.

The pump has a design life of 200,000 miles and consumes only 1/7th of a horsepower. It delivers 10.5litres/min flow rate at a maximum pressure of 200bar.

It can be used either as a dedicated pump to drive a winch, or as a steering pump upgrade for some Land Rover models when a dedicated pump is not an easy option. A separate pressure relief is then needed to protect the vehicle’s power steering box against the much higher pressure on the ZF74 pump.
