8 Tonne Polypropylene Tow Rope.
This is a quality tow rope at a very low price. The poly rope is 4.5 metres long (the maximum permitted length for towing on-road) and is 24mm diameter. It is spliced at both ends and is supplied with a’ tested’ D shackle.
The characteristics of ‘staple-spun’ polypropylene mean that this is a true ’dead rope’ and has virtually no stretch with about 60% of the strength of nylon. It absorbs very little water and doesn’t shrink.
If you need a no nonsense but effective rope which is for occasional use but needs to perform when required, the lower cost of the 8 Tonne poly rope could be the choice for you.
Price includes a 19mm tested Bow Shackle.
