Built to commercial standards, the heart of the Husky lies in its immensely strong worm and wheel gearbox. The irreversible principal of this transmission system eliminates the need for both a friction brake and annoyingly unreliable roller clutch to secure the drum under rope tension. This means the Husky can winch out as easily as winching in, without the risk of overheating the friction brake fitted to most other winches. This is an important factor when using synthetic winch ropes as the effect of the generated heat on the rope can have catastrophic consequences.

The worm-box runs in its own oil supply for longevity, as does the spur gear assembly. The Husky is driven by the well-proven super-tough 2.5HP Iskra long series motor. But the heavy duty design doesn't end with the winch itself. Even the remote controller is cast aluminium with a rubber armoured handle and heavy duty switch.

We can supply the Husky with a synthetic Plasma 12 rope instead of a wire rope and provide a wiring kit custom-built wiring kit for a specific vehicle. A range of fitting kits are also available, from a basic flatbed mounting plate to a Land Rover Defender Bumper.

The Husky 10 is supplied by us as standard with 30m x 9.5mm Wire Rope with Roller Fairlead and vehicle wiring kit, all included in the price.

FREE UK Carriage Charges.

Online orders with a value over £95.00 excluding VAT will not be subject to a carriage charge.  An economy delivery service is used in these cases, normally taking 3-4 days for delivery.  For this option please select the 'ENGLAND ORDERS OVER £95 FREE' option on the destination list when checking out. Please note this offer excludes the Scottish Highland and all UK off-shore islands.
