Doha, . The 4x4ing here is good, basically you can drive where you want and do what you want, and at 16p a litre it’s affordable too. I bought a Toyota Fortuner with a 4 ltr V6 petrol engine with centre and rear diff lock, great fun. The attached photo is of a decent down a medium size dune, in a 2 week old car!"
I had to use the new rope a couple of time this weekend. The Pajero was an easy recovery; Johan is Swedish and getting use to sand rather than snow! The Land Cruiser was a little harder, we had to tie it to the Patrol to stop it rolling, the uphill wheels were off the ground and the sand was all that was supporting it. It had slipped sideways off the top of the small bank.
I had to tow it up hill, so the 15m rope on the KERR allowed me to accelerate up hill in soft sand. Great kit thanks.
